1 Data Storage Overview

We believe your outreach data is your most valuable asset. That's why we've built DMnesia with a privacy-first architecture.

"If you're on the Free plan, we literally cannot see your data because it never leaves your computer."

DMnesia and LinkedIn

DMnesia is a personal productivity tool. The extension only reads content from LinkedIn pages you actively visit in your own browser, and it does not perform background crawling, send messages, accept connection requests, or take any other automated action on your behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operating on behalf of LinkedIn Corporation. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's User Agreement; you are responsible for ensuring your use of DMnesia complies with it. See our Terms of Service for details.

2 DMnesia Pro Cloud Sync

To enable multi-device access, DMnesia Pro syncs your data securely via Google Firebase.

Authentication

We use Google OAuth for secure login. We never see or store your Google password.

Encryption

All cloud data is encrypted in transit using SSL and at rest in our secure server clusters.

3 Third-Party Services

We only use the most trusted industry leaders for core functionality.

Stripe (Payments)

Handles all billing. We never store or transmit your credit card details.

Google Firebase (Hosting/DB)

Provides the secure framework for our cloud sync and authentication.

4 Data Rights & Deletion

You are in full control of your data. You can export or delete your information at any time.

Free plan: Just uninstall the extension to delete everything.
Pro plan: Email support@dmnesia.com for full cloud deletion.

5 Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide you with the DMnesia service.

Active accounts: Data is retained for the duration of your subscription.
Archived contacts: Auto-deleted after 90 days.
Deleted accounts: All cloud data is permanently purged within 30 days of account deletion.
Email logs: Transactional email records are retained for 90 days for debugging.

6 Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data under the following legal bases as defined by GDPR:

Contractual Necessity

Processing required to deliver the DMnesia service you signed up for (account management, cloud sync, billing).

Legitimate Interest

Product improvement analytics and security monitoring. We always balance this against your privacy rights.

Consent

Marketing emails and optional product notifications. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.

7 California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

The right to know what personal data we collect and how it is used.
The right to request deletion of your personal data.
The right to opt out of the sale of your personal data.

Do Not Sell

DMnesia does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever.
